I engaged Eugene almost immediately after I got proposed to (nearly 2 years before our actual wedding), because I was so in awe of his work and the essence of the people/events he captures. Eugene was so easy to talk to, and we clicked so quickly and knew we were in good hands. Finally after the 2 year wait - our wedding day arrived and having Eugene with us through the day was one of the best decisions we made. He made the both of us feel so comfortable from the get go, and it truly felt like he was one of our long time friends who we asked to help shoot for our big day. We've only seen sneaks as our wedding was only 2 weeks ago, but the handful we've seen so far are so beautiful! Not only did he make us look gorgeous (haha), but also captured so many little lovely moments of us and our guests that we missed because we were so busy that day. Our family and guests have nothing but praises to sing about Eugene as well. We're so excited to see our photos, and would like to thank Eugene and Erin for being so lovely to work with <3

In our search for a photographer for our solemnisation, we talked to a few different people. Eugene was the first call we had and at the end of each successive call we still knew that he was who we would feel the most comfortable with and would trust with our shoot.<br><br>Being a shy couple who do not know how to pose for our lives, we didn’t feel awkward at all on the day thanks to the way Eugene conducts his shoots. The whole vibe was very light hearted and it felt like we were talking to a friend, which made us more comfortable in front of the camera. While he did guide us with our poses sometimes, he also captured so many candid moments that we did not even notice, which we really enjoy looking back on.<br><br>When we got back a few photos as part of the sneak peek, we were already in awe, and were so excited to receive the rest of the photos - which came so fast we were shocked!<br><br>Also, Erin handled the backend so smoothly for us as well! We mixed up the timing for the shoot, and ended it earlier than what was agreed on. They very quickly sent us the edited invoice with the changed price too.<br><br>We would totally hire him again next time if we were to do another shoot. If you want a photographer who can capture all the small, heart warming moments, and also make you feel comfortable, Eugene is the person for you! ❤️

I met Eugene while he was shooting for a friend’s wedding 5 years ago, and instantly knew that I’d love to have Eugene shoot at my wedding as well - I resonated so much with his artistic creativity, passion and vision to document moments, instead of just taking cookie cutter posey photos throughout the day.<br><br>Thankfully he was available for both my PWS and AD, and my husband loved his style and energy as well. Eugene made us, our family, and guests feel so at ease with his steady direction and personable demeanor. There were times we were clueless about customs and stuff on the AD, and Eugene readily and patiently stepped in to guide us, all while continuing to capture every moment!<br><br>Our wedding wouldn’t have felt complete without him, and we can’t recommend Eugene enough to other couples!!!

Eugene was the best decision we made, I’ve also been following his work even before we got married, and somehow I just knew we’d click — and we did.<br><br>We engaged Eugene for both pre-wedding shoot & for the actual day. He was able to capture really raw, intimate moments between my husband & I during our pre-wedding shoot (which was really fun btw!!!). Both husband & I are really awkward infront of the camera but Eugene managed to bring out our true selves and we felt so comfortable during the shoots — not to mention, I will always rmbr mustard-coloured walls outside the toilet 🤣 these make the top 10 of my favourite photos he shot!<br><br>People often focus on “nice photos,” but that’s a given. Chemistry with your photographer is what really makes the difference.<br><br>For our actual day — the magic happened for us. Eugene doesn’t just take photos, he captures stories. Genuine, candid moments and BTS of our guests that we would’ve completely missed, that we can reminisce on and smiling at whenever we look back on them. He even shares the little background behind them — like an offhand comment that led to a specific expression,<br>which makes each photo even more special. he captured all the moments that we wouldn’t have noticed during the day, and we truly appreciate that so much.<br><br>All the photos were edited with supersonic speed and with superior quality! even the song choices they had for our photo storage was so apt, like it was chosen just for us. He remembers the little details we told him, and sneaks some shots here and there with captions that really make all the difference.<br><br>We didn’t just engage a photographer, we also made a friend.<br><br>thank you & wife Erin for being part of most important milestones that we have had,<br>and bringing out the best in us with every shot!!

We couldn't have asked for a better wedding photographer! Zhi Heng was patient, approachable, and incredibly dedicated throughout the day. What we loved most was how naturally he captured moments without making us pose excessively. He gave just enough direction when needed, resulting in photos that felt genuine and effortless. We were especially amazed by his ability to capture the animals and nature around us, the photos of our pet dog are some of our absolute favourites and perfectly captured their personality. Looking through the gallery brings us right back to the emotions and joy of the day. We're so grateful for the beautiful memories and would highly recommend him to any couple looking for a photographer who is both talented and easy to work with.
