“Greetings! I am Jon, and I am the Principal Photographer at House of Philemon. I am passionate about documenting life’s best, with authenticity and connection at the heart of how I shoot. Fun fact, my folks tell me that I would have one of those old school handheld video cameras with me everywhere I went, from as young as the age of 3! While I am trained in Graphic Design, documenting life has always come naturally to me — whether shooting streetscapes on my travels, or everyday life in Singapore. Shooting with House of Philemon has been fulfilling, and I hope to meet many more of you on this journey. When I am not photographing, I enjoy seeking out novel experiences — new food (especially anything spicy and sour), new music (from retro beats to the latest hits from TikTok), and new ways of storytelling (mostly always inspired by my favourite filmmaker Wong Kar Wai).”

Thank you Jon for such a wonderful experience! We booked a 1.5hr casual shoot early in the morning. Not only did Jon graciously gave us a free upgrade from associate to principal, he even extended 15 mins for free, due to some delay caused by circumstances out of our control. Jon was also really engaging throughout the process, ensuring that we got all the shots needed, while having tons of fun. As the shots were really pretty, we decided to request for 2 color corrected versions of each photo, to which Jon generously obliged. Though we were promised full return of all photos between 7 to 14 working days, we ended up receiving them by the 4th working day. Safe to say, 5 stars wouldn't be enough to showcase the excellent service HOP has given to me and my fiancée. Definitely highly recommended!

Had a great experience! Matt and I greatly appreciated the guidance and direction for the shots. We're not used to shoots and having different poses so the creative direction was much appreciated. We were able to go to all the locations we wanted and the pictures turned out wonderful :)

Engaged their Assosciate Photographer for our Engagement Shoot and they did not disappoint! The entire shoot was comfortable and relaxing, the photographer was professional as well and suggested many poses and was patient with us as we are rather shy and awkward in front of the camera but he reassured us and the photos came out great! We especially loved the candid photos and our guests sang good praises as well! Will definitely engage them again. 💕
