The experience was calming & creative. Nilo’s passion and entry into Kintsugi is inspiring, which came across during the workshop. We left with a lovely sake set that we can’t wait to use.

I sent a 400 year old clay tile (one of a pair) to be whole again. The "new' tile is so beautiful, I have to resist the urge to drop the other one. Looking at it now, I feel kintsugi is very much like us, broken but always back together, more and more beautiful! And Nilo, what a beautiful person. You walk into the studio, and you feel like you've always known the space. Such a lovely experience!

I visited Kintsugi Art Studio with my mum to celebrate our birthdays, and it turned out to be exactly what we needed. The studio is warm, beautiful and calming, and Nilo is an exceptional host and facilitator. She welcomed us with tea, patiently guided us through the kintsugi process, shared the philosophy behind the art form, and created such a comfortable environment for conversation and reflection. The experience felt deeply personal without ever feeling overly structured. What I appreciated most was that this wasn’t just a craft workshop. It was an opportunity to slow down, be present, and reflect. Given a particularly stressful season for our family, the experience carried far more meaning than we expected. We left with beautiful repaired pieces that we’re proud to display at home, but also with lovely memories of time spent together. Highly recommended for couples, friends, parents and adult children, team bonding sessions, book clubs, or anyone looking for a thoughtful and restorative experience. Thank you, Nilo. We’ll definitely be back.

Had a great Kintsugi workshop with my wife today. Broke a sake set 🍶 and spent the afternoon putting the pieces back together to transform it into a piece of art for our new home. 🏠

It was a memorable session with Nilo as the host. Highly recommended for couples and families!
