My photography leans into the raw and real where light meets truth and emotions run deep. I move with you, not ahead of you, letting your story unfold naturally. Whether it’s a wedding, maternity shoot, or family session, I capture the kind of truth that lingers long after the frame fades. It’s less about making a picture perfect, and more about the pulse behind it. I’m not here for the over-saturated or the over-posed. I’m drawn to what’s unpolished—the kind of memory that feels like a heartbeat when you look back. My documentary style isn’t about staging life, but honoring it as it is. From the moment we meet, it’s never just a transaction. I come to where you feel most at ease; your home, your rhythm, your quiet. I want to know what makes you laugh, what holds you together, what gets your heart racing, what silly jokes you both laugh at. The quirks. The scars. The wild, wonderful truth of who you are. Gurmit was a really fun photographer to work with for our wedding solemnisation. Beyond just being a photographer, he was an enabler at one of the most important events of our lives — bringing his personality into the experience when it mattered, giving us the space to be ourselves and have fun, while also knowing when to blend into the background during the church ceremony itself. This resulted in many wonderful shots that felt natural, authentic and very much like us. He was also very professional and a great sport. We engaged him on short notice, and he very kindly accommodated our timings and requests from the beginning. Despite having only a few days' before the event, he took the time to get to know us and he also arrived early on the day itself. During the shoot, he was enthusiastic about all our ideas and happily accompanied us for a quick outdoor shoot under the blazing heat, sweating buckets alongside us! 😆 His easygoing and adaptable personality made the whole experience incredibly enjoyable. Finally, he delivered the edited gallery on time, and both the quantity and quality of the photos surpassed our expectations. What we loved most was how he captured not just the big moments, but the emotions, personalities and little details that made the day feel uniquely ours. We would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a talented, professional and genuinely fun photographer to have around.
