A friend recommended us to Summer Roaming stories. We reached out even though their video style wasn't our what we were looking for and asked if they were keen to explore a new way of shooting/editing since we haven't found a vendor – thankfully they said yes. Throughout the entire process, Nurul and Xuhearn were amazing vendors to work with. We had multiple calls with them to discuss angle/style/references for them to understand the style that we wanted and they were always patient, sometimes even following up and reconfirming with us. Always responsive and such a breeze to work with on our AD. You can really see the passion that they put into each wedding/project that they do and it really shows in the results. We were super happy with our video and it really encapsulated our dynamics as a couple + the energy of the night. Highly recommend them as partners for your big day! How do I even start? Xuhearn and Nurul are honestly some of the warmest, most fun-loving, creative, genuine & spontaneous people we’ve ever met. From the moment I saw their Insta, I had a feeling we’d click - and we did, from our very first video call! From the very start, they really took the time to get to know us and our story. We had the absolute best time brainstorming with them and sharing our vision… and they brought it to life in a way we couldn’t have imagined. Even the tiniest detail we mentioned - verbatim - they somehow weaved seamlessly into the video. The photos and videos they captured, around our first home and hood, doing all our lil fav mundane things like skateboarding or just walking home - are simply stunning. They felt so true to us!! We looped them on our wedding day, pasted them all over the venue, put them on our website… and yes, they’re currently my phone wallpaper. Honestly, how could they not be? :”) The way they play with colors, experiment with different film cameras & put so much thought into their edits made the experience even more special. But what really stays with us goes beyond just the wedding shoot. These are memories we’ll treasure for lifeeee - especially around our first home, which we’ll be moving out of soon :”) Jumping into the pool at night (when we first floated this idea with them, they were like LFGGG! They make you feel like anything is possible 🥹), skateboarding along the canal, laughing in the rain… they somehow made it feel like we were just hanging out with old friends. We felt completely comfortable and at ease :) And yes, they even cooked for us during a planning session. Absolute legends ✨ TLDR: We couldn’t recommend them more if you want a shoot that doesn’t feel conventional, but feels so uniquely you, with beautiful, magical photos to remember it all by. 1000000/10!!!
